Why Am I Always Soo Tied?

Remember back when you were 25 and how much did you weigh back then? Well, if your anything like me, I gained about 30 pounds before I was 35 and an additional 20 over the next 10 years.

In my case my activity level dropped and my appetite grew. I actually grew from 170 pounds to 220. I went from a 34 waist to a 38 inch waist. That was the breaking point for me. It was like the cigarette machine jumbed up to 50 cents. I couldn't believe it. "That's it I quit." I guess I gave away my age, but that's how the public stops inflation. You have to say no to higher prices and if enough people stop buying the price will go down.

So back to weight and being tired. When a person is 25 years old, they are fully grown and fully developed. Meaning the organs are as large as they should be for your size. Then after 30 most men start to add weight and size. Your organs have to nourish the entire body no matter how big or small. The more weight and size you gain over the years you are stressing the organs to work properly.

So why are you tired, because your body functions are working much harder. Your body is using up much of your energy just providing normal body functions like keeping your heart pumping and keeping your lungs breathing. Also, you are now using more energy just walking, climbing stairs, and doing normal tasks. One more thing that we usually forget about is eating. Eating uses up lots of energy. Digesting food takes several hours and uses up almost half of our daily energy allotment.

I learned the hard way to cut out the foods that added weight to my body and drink lots of water. I now drink about 3 liters of water a day and stopped drinking anything with calories. Yes, I had to stop drinking alcohol. That wasn't easy, but easier than when I stopped smoking. I didn't stop alcohol forever, just when I was trying to lose body fat.
