Living a Healthy Life

Living healthy is not about living long necessarily, of course that can be a benefit, but living healthy is more about avoiding disease and illnesses, it's about keeping your body from aging faster than you.

Statistics show us that most people don't die of old age. The main causes today of dying are war, accidents, diseases, illnesses, you can also die from heart conditions causes by the food you eat, or stress, or even depression. But to get back to the point, very few people just get old and die when their heart stops working.

We are really the masters of our own destiny. In fact science has no idea how long your body can stay alive. In the modern world we live in, we endure air pollution, pollutants in our water, stress in our daily lives, chemicals in our food supply, and dozens more obstacles. No one really teaches us how to coup with modern living. They never taught us that in school. Matter a fact, they never taught that in school. We blame past generations for all the problems we face today but really they only did the best they could with the education they had at the time. Remember it's easier to govern a smaller amount of people. As our population grows and becomes more diverse governing becomes more complex. I believe that's one reason we shouldn't allow politicians to stay in office until they die. We should have  mandatory retirement for all government employees.

Everything will change for the better if people stand up and demand it. Government always listens to the people in the end. The people vote them into office and pay the taxes and without that the government would be reduced to nothing.

So those problems will get solved in a hundred years or so, we can't do anything about it anyway. With that thought in mind, living healthy is left up to us. No one will do it for you. Your doctor can't real do much. There are no magic pills. They give us a prescription to make you comfortable, and help you live with your illness but in general once you have a condition you will always have it. The doctor just helps you to live with it. And socialized medicine will emphasize that.

There is a new tread now to grow your own vegetables and to allow home owners to raise chickens. So what's that all about? People don't trust our food supply. They want to be able to grow their own food. We have always been able to grow fruit and vegetable on your own property but now HOA's are allowing chickens in some areas. Also milk is not as popular as before. We have all types of substitutes for ordinary milk from a cow. Milk made from nuts, from soy, and goat milk just to name a few.

Yes, our food supply is getting an overhaul and why because people are demanding it. In the end the people will always get what they want, but it will always come at a cost.

The best way to start living a healthy life is to start losing excess body fat. Your perfect weight is generally the weight you were when you first became adult age. About 18 or 20 years old is about the time in your life when you were fully grown. That was your perfect weight and if you can stay that weight you will avoid a lot of physical problems.
