Losing Weight Isn't The Same For Everyone
Most of us that have or had a problem with belly fat can appreciate this post. Unfortunately, when you gain excess body fat you end up with some health problems. Most of us just ignore those little problems because the doctor wasn't really concerned and he just gives you the same talk about losing some weight.
But because you might have to take pills to control your blood pressure or because your cholesterol is too high, the doctor is giving you pills to control your condition and your vitals get back to that normal range so no big deal, right?
Wrong. Now because your starting to look sloppy, your clothes don't fit very well and being overweight is affecting your job performance, you want to lose some weight. Now it's going to be a little harder. Your medications can affect weight loss.
Exercise is going to be difficult and eating healthy means giving up all the foods you love. These are the reasons middle age people find it harder to lose weight. Most of us don't want to change we just want to lose weight and look good again.
If you want to look like your still twenty something or still thirty something you have to start living a healthy lifestyle. If you're ready to make the change you have to make the change in your diet first and than work on an exercise program to fit into your schedule. Most of us try to fit our life into an exercise program but that doesn't work for the long-term. Your life will always cause you to skip exercise time. Something will always get in the way, so it's best to pick a program that you can always do.
For example, I received a comment on one of my post from a company executive, his company makes treadmill desks and he claims that business is great. There has been a lot of interest lately. Other people are opting for a stand-up desk. You will be amazed how much more time you have to walk with a stand-up desk.
Some people who don't have an option at work will mall work. You can go before work or after work. I never tried to exercise in the afternoon or early evening but some people say that it helps you unwind after work. The ten thousand step a day program is the amount of walking needed to lose weight. Walking is an exercise program anyone can do, it's cheap and effective. Inactivity and diet is the reason most of us gain weight. Doing this is the easy way to lose fat, but it will take time, but it does work.
If your in a big hurry, of course you can purge your system and usually lose about 10 pounds, but that's only temporary weight loss. In a few weeks it comes right back because you never lost any fat. Purging might drop the waist size a little but it's only temporary, don't fool yourself into thinking your fat is disappearing.
