The Key To Losing Body Fat Is Your Diet

We’re finding more and more that our body will do the healing if we eat the proper foods. For instance, on the Today Show this morning Dr. Oz was demonstrating how cancer grows in your body and that we all have these cancer cells but because some people aren’t getting a proper amount of certain foods, the cancer cells will grow and keep growing until we can detect them. Celery, onions, and Leeks will stop cancer cells from growing, but you need to eat them 5 times a week. Remember we all have these cells, we need to stop them before they are large enough to be detected. He also said that medicine has nothing that will do this.

In other words, you have to depend on the food your eating to stay healthy. We too often think that our lifestyle doesn't matter, that medicine will keep us healthy, so why worry about it. Yes, medicine is making a lot of break-throughs but medicine if the truth is known is still trying to catch up. Civilization is far ahead of medicine. They are playing the game of trying to fix what's wrong with you. In most cases they're clueless. That's last century's medicine.

Your diet can solve most of our body's problems. Some problems we know how to solve, but we still have to rely on medicine for most of the remedies. Today we’ve gotten away from eating the way our grandparents ate. In countries where people still eat fresh foods every day, you don’t have a large amount of illness that we see in our urban cities.

Maybe medicine doesn’t have all the answers yet, and maybe the best they can do is treat the symptoms, but my doctor always has the same answer to most of my questions. Eat a well-balanced diet and take a vitamin D3 supplement. Eating a well-balanced diet is the little secret that seems to be a mystery. What exactly is a well-balanced diet? First of all, a well-balanced diet will help you lose weight. Okay then, where can I buy it. Well, it turns out that lots of frozen food companies say they sell a well-balanced meal in a box and all you do is microwave it, but I haven’t talked to many satisfied customers. Most of the people I’ve talked to don’t stay on those food plans very long because it’s not enough food, after a few days their snacking between meals. And how do you know you're getting any nutrition from that frozen food. The only thing you can believe is the calorie count. The nutritional value on a label is all smoke and mirrors.

The best advice I have for you is to do research on the internet. Use sites like Mayo Clinic, Wedmd.com, Medicine.net, Cleveland Clinic, or Doctoroz.com. Use sites that don’t promote weight loss products or exercise equipment. You don’t want to buy anything unless your doctor advises it. The people who have had the most success losing weight have done it with the help of their doctor. There’s lots of free information on the internet and most of it is good. Beware of those selling something. Remember you can’t believe everything you read.

The Mediterranean diet plan is a lifestyle change for most of us, but you will eat more vegetables and fruit, more grains and fish and other seafood and you will become a healthier person. Another similar plan is the Dash Diet, it's highly recommended by doctors for people with high blood pressure and other medical conditions. You can get the facts on the internet.
